Handyman Franchise Awarding Process

Taking you step-by-step to becoming your own business owner

We take the success of our franchise owners both personally and seriously. After all, our reputation rests on the performance of each individual operation.

The Odd Job Bob franchise awarding process was created to ensure that only those with an excellent chance of success become an Odd Job Bob franchise owner.

The process will provide you with all the information you need to make an informed business decision and to help you decide if this opportunity fits with your own abilities, interests and goals:

  • Step 1: Pre-Qualification Form
The pre-qualification form is completed on-line or by mail and submitted for review by the Odd Job Bob Franchise Development Manager.

  • Step 2: Initial Phone Interview
This interview is to provide you with additional information about Odd Job Bob. It serves to confirm that an Odd Job Bob franchise operation could be right for you.

  • Step 3: UFOC (US) or Disclosure Document (Canada)
Required disclosure of either the Odd Job Bob Uniform Franchise Offering Circular (US) or Disclosure Document (Canada). Any questions at this point can be addressed in detail with your Franchise Development Manager.

  • Step 4: Head Office and Site Visit
As a prospective franchisee, you will visit corporate headquarters for review and approval, including a tour of the corporately owned Odd Job Bob operation.

  • Step 5: Franchisee Agreement Review
After successful awarding of the franchise territory, the franchise fee is payable.

  • Step 6: Two Week Training
A combination of both classroom and operation training conducted at your new corporate headquarters.

  • Step 7: Additional Training and Grand Opening
Several weeks after the initial training, you will receive an additional two-day, on-site visit and assistance from our corporate office with your Franchise Grand Opening. You may also purchase additional on-site training.
